In May 2004, Walk Wireless LLC opened its door for business to provide wireless telecommunication for our community. Our business model is designed to be a mainstay in our communities through education as well as economic advance- ments. We will expose our customers to a teaching and learning experience needed in our communities. This will be accomplished througH telecommuni- cation workshops that will not take advantage of our culture’s buying power, but utilized these re- sources for community development, student outreach programs, and organization fundraising. We have submitted proposals to various organizations and groups outlining our objectives. U.S. Cellular is a major sponsor of the initial phase of our long-term goals. We anticipate their continued participation for years to come as an exclusive Authorized Agent for U.S. Cellular. Our educational platform exposes customers to topics such as “general wireless use”, “account billing and maintenance”, “new technology”, “using your phone”,"internet usage ", "what is a vertical feature?”, and “equipment troubleshooting.” Walk Wireless LLC seeks to partner with organizations / groups to develop long-term fundraising and business opportunities. Interested organizations / groups will be entitled to instructional workshops and then participate in our fundraising program that not only will increase Walk Wireless LLC customer base but also provide increased resources for fundraising goals.
